Each year, €25,000 in prize money is awarded in an idea competition for the best climate protection ideas to support joint local engagement.
The Climate Protection nebenan.de initiative by the nebenan.de Foundation is committed to climate-friendly neighborhoods and strengthening social togetherness. As part of the idea competition Climate Protection Next Door launched in 2022, the foundation annually supports the best ideas for climate protection in the neighborhood and awards a total of €25,000 in prize money. Through the Climate Protection nebenan.de initiative, people come together in their immediate living environment, learn from each other, and take joint action – for a healthy, climate-friendly future.
