The settings for email and push notifications are clearly organized and customizable in the app, while the web version only allows email notifications. Users can enable or disable notifications for activities, sales offers, and events. Weekly summaries and event previews are sent via email. The settings are similarly accessible on the web, Android, and iOS apps.
The settings for email and push notifications are clear and easy to use. They can be set simultaneously in the app. This allows you to easily customize which activities in your neighborhood you want to be informed about via email and/or push notifications. In the web version, only email notifications can be configured.
Email notifications are sent to the email address stored in your profile. You receive push notifications when you use the app.
In every email notification, you have the option to access and manage your email settings. Simply click “here” at the bottom of the email and adjust your email preferences. You will be directly forwarded to your profile page to configure email notifications according to your needs.
Tips: The weekly summary is sent on Sundays. It shows which posts received the most comments and thank-you reactions up to and including Saturday evening. The event preview is sent on Thursdays and informs you about upcoming events in your neighborhood and beyond.
Note: Push notifications are different from the “Notifications”/“News” you find under the bell icon. That is something else. For more information, see What exactly do I find under “Notifications”/“News” - Bell Icon?
Here we show you how to adjust the notifications. First, select your device:
