The newsletter provides weekly updates every Thursday about events in your immediate and adjacent neighborhoods, as well as public events in the city. It displays selected dates for the next two weeks starting from Saturday. Public events are for informational purposes only, without interaction options, to protect neighbors' privacy. Further settings are described in the linked article.
Once a week, on Thursdays, you will receive a newsletter informing you about upcoming events in your neighborhood and beyond.
The newsletter is structured into the immediate neighborhood, adjoining neighborhoods, and public events in your city and surroundings.
The newsletter shows some events for the next two weeks, starting from the upcoming Saturday.
Please note, there are so many wonderful events on our platform that unfortunately we cannot include all of them in the newsletter.
The public events from more distant neighborhoods are invitations from neighbors who live outside your neighborhood and whose organizers believe their event might also be of interest to a wider radius. Therefore, these events are shown to you in your email notification under the section "Public Event."
Information about public events outside your neighborhood is purely informational; they cannot be commented on or accepted or declined. Public posts only show the content of the post and the name of the neighborhood from which the post originates. Names, profile pictures, and responses of other neighbors remain protected within the neighborhood and cannot be seen by outsiders. This is how we protect you and your neighborhood privacy.
How to activate or deactivate the event preview for yourself is best read in our article Configuring Email and Push Notifications to Suit My Needs.
