When you create a group through the app, it is automatically visible to your direct and adjacent neighborhoods. In the web version, you can specify whether the group should be visible only to direct neighborhoods or also to adjacent neighborhoods. Changes made in the web version are also reflected in the app but currently cannot be made directly in the app.
If you have created a group through the app, the group will automatically be visible to your direct and adjacent neighborhoods. This way, all neighbors in your immediate neighborhood and surrounding area can join your group or send a membership request.
In the web version, you can also set whether your group should be visible only to your direct neighborhoods or also to adjacent ones.
You can do this either while creating the group or afterwards, if the group already exists. To do this, go to your group, click on the 3 dots on the right, and select “Add Neighborhoods.”
Note: If you make any changes in the web version, they will also be displayed in the app. Unfortunately, you cannot currently make these changes directly in the app.
Tip: If you are looking for a specific group because, for example, a somewhat distant neighbor told you about it, but you cannot find this group in your group list, it may indeed be that the group is not enabled for your neighborhood.
