This article explains how to create an event post in the web version, Android, and iOS apps. Users select the category "Event," fill in all fields, and set the reach. For more visibility, the option "Public Event" can be activated. Posts appear on the homepage, under "Events," and in the user's own profile. Additionally, locations can be recommended, and images and emojis can be added.

How do I create the post? First, select your device:
For the web version:
You can find the option to create an event either at the very top of the homepage under "What do you want to share?" - "Event," or on the right in the menu under "Events." Then click the green button "+ Create."
In the next step, compose the post. Fill in all fields, select a category, and save the post at the end by clicking "Create."
You set the reach of your post in the last field, which also determines how your neighbors can learn about your event. For more visibility, activate the "Public Post" feature.
With these features, you can insert emojis, upload images, and recommend locations.

For the Android app:
Tap the pencil icon at the bottom right to create a post. First, select the category "Event."
In the next step, compose the post. Fill in all fields, select a category, and save the post at the end by tapping "Create Event."
You set the reach of your post in the last field, which also determines how your neighbors can learn about your event. For more visibility, activate the "Public Post" feature.
Under "Location," you can enter an address or add an already registered place, such as a restaurant or another local business. If you want to enter a place that is not yet registered, click on "just use…"
