The search function allows you to find interests, posts, or events in various categories such as "Entries," "Marketplace," or "Neighbors." Results are displayed differently depending on the category. Users can search content from their own and adjacent neighborhoods. Instructions and images explain how to use the search on the web, Android, and iOS apps.
Interests, posts, or events: Simply enter the term you are looking for, and the results will be displayed under the corresponding categories "Entries," "Marketplace," "Neighbors," "Groups," "Shops & Services," "Organization," and/or "Places."
For example, if you are searching for a drill in your neighborhood, you can enter this keyword in the search bar. With some luck, you will find a neighbor in your neighborhood who has a drill to lend or sell.
The results in the categories “Entries” and “Marketplace” are displayed chronologically, and only those that contain the keyword in the title are listed.
Under "Neighbors," you will find all your neighbors who have entered “drill” in their profile under the category “You offer”.
In the categories "Shops & Services," "Organization," and "Places," results are displayed that contain the initial letters of the entered keyword. For example, when searching for "drill," shops with names starting with "dri" will be shown.
You can search content from your own neighborhood and from directly adjacent neighborhoods, provided you have added them. Important: In adjacent neighborhoods, you will still only be visible/found with your first name and abbreviated last name.
