In the web version of nebenan.de, individual messages within a conversation can be deleted, which also removes them from the recipient's inbox and cannot be undone. Entire conversations can be deleted using the trash can icon. Deleted conversations can be viewed again by opening the person's profile and writing a new message, which restores the conversation to the inbox.
You have the option to delete individual messages within a conversation (currently only in the web version) and to delete an entire conversation.
To delete individual messages, go to your nebenan.de inbox via your browser. Hover your mouse over the message you want to delete. The word “Delete” will appear under the message; click on it and confirm.
Please note that if messages have been deleted within the conversation, it is not possible to restore them. The messages will be deleted from your inbox AND the recipient’s inbox.
When an individual message has been deleted, you will see the following notification:

Note: If you have deleted a conversation from your inbox, you have the option to view the conversation again. To do this, you must first open the person’s profile and click on “Personal message.”
The private conversation with this person will be displayed to you again. However, this does not restore these messages in your inbox. Only if you write to the person again will the conversation be restored and appear again in your inbox.
